Mullamottu Mala is one of the traditional jewellery of Kerala. It is a special and a precious one for Kerala brides. In traditional Hindu Marriage commonly used this Mullamottu Mala. This is looks like a bud of Jasmin so the reason why it is called as Mullamottu Mala. This is a malayalam word Mullamottu. This means Bud of Jasmin. Mullamottu Mala is available in two different models such as necklace model and long chain model in south India. But in Kerala shot chained like neck less models are more common and having traditional look and acceptance.
